Each Sporty bag is hand-stitched in a social workshop that provides employment to women with limited access to the job market in Spain. These are locally produced, artisanal bags, reducing the carbon footprint, creating job opportunities, and boosting the local economy.
Additionally, the Sporty bag is handmade in a social workshop located in Valencia, where it empowers women at risk of social exclusion. This commitment to empowering women is what makes the Canussa Sporty unique — a bag with a purpose.
Sustainable Bag
Another key part of Canussa's mission is sustainability. That’s why we’ve given a second life to seatbelts salvaged from car scrap yards, using them to give our bags exceptional durability and resistance. Additionally, we plant a tree for every Sporty bag sold.
In this way, we’re not only reducing our environmental impact but also promoting the circular economy by designing sustainable bags made in Spain.

100% Recycled Bag
At our Canussa Lab, we work daily to transform the fashion industry by seeking the most sustainable solutions and innovative ways to produce, design, and craft with the highest quality. This is the path we follow in creating recycled and vegan bags in Spain. The Sporty is an example of a recycled and vegan bag made in Spain because it is crafted with a fabric made in Spain from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester thread. Its label is made from Canussa’s pre-consumption waste.
