WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies, or pixels, are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.
Through the use of these devices, the web server is able to remember certain data about the user, such as preferences for displaying pages on the server, name and password, products of interest, etc.
COOKIES AFFECTED BY THE REGULATION AND EXEMPTED COOKIES

The information gathered by these cookies is used to measure the activity of the websites, applications, or platforms, and to create user navigation profiles to introduce improvements based on the data usage analysis.
- Advertising Cookies: These allow the management of advertising spaces as efficiently as possible based on criteria such as content edited or the frequency with which ads are shown.
- Behavioral Advertising Cookies: These collect information about the user's preferences and personal choices (retargeting) to allow the management of advertising spaces based on this information.
- Social Cookies: These are set by social media platforms to allow sharing of content with friends and networks. Social media platforms can track your activity online outside their services. This can affect the content and messages you see on other services you visit.
- Affiliate Cookies: These allow tracking visits originating from other websites with which the site has an affiliation agreement.
- Security Cookies: These store encrypted information to prevent the saved data from being vulnerable to malicious third-party attacks.

- Third-party Cookies (Google Analytics and Ads): These are sent to the user's terminal from a device or domain that is not managed by the editor, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
BY CONSERVATION PERIOD
- Session Cookies: These are cookies designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website.
- Persistent Cookies: These cookies store data on the terminal and can be accessed and processed during a defined period by the cookie's responsible party, which can range from a few minutes to several years.
