CANUSSA LAB strengthens its own prototyping and customization workshop

At CANUSSA LAB, we continue to move towards a more agile, local and conscious production model. Thanks to the grant received from the Ministry of Culture, we have been able to strengthen our internal workshop with new prototyping and customization tools, incorporating our own laser, plotter and sewing processes.

This step allows us to work more independently in product development, reduce management times and improve our ability to adapt to the specific needs of each project.

An in-house workshop to create, test and improve

Product development does not only begin when manufacturing starts. Before that, there is an essential phase of testing, adjustment and validation: choosing materials, defining shapes, reviewing measurements, checking finishes and studying how each piece can be customized.

Having our own workshop allows us to integrate this phase directly into CANUSSA LAB. We can now create prototypes more quickly, test new solutions and correct possible errors before moving into production.

This not only improves the efficiency of the process, but also helps us reduce waste by avoiding unnecessary production or external testing that can extend timelines and increase resource consumption.

Customization with laser, plotter and in-house sewing

One of the main objectives of this improvement has been to expand our customization capabilities. In the field of corporate gifts and business accessories, each project needs to adapt to a specific visual identity: logos, colors, positions, finishes and formats.

The incorporation of tools such as laser and plotter technology allows us to work with greater precision when applying branding, while exploring different engraving, cutting and customization options.

In addition, strengthening our in-house sewing capabilities gives us greater control over finishes, adjustments and the final quality of each product. This is especially important in tailor-made projects, where every detail influences the perception of the product and the experience of the person who receives it.

More agility, less external dependence

Until now, many testing or customization processes depended on external suppliers. Although they remain an important part of our network, having our own tools allows us to be more agile during the initial stages of each project.

We can test an idea, review a sample or adjust a customization without having to outsource every small change. This makes the process faster, more flexible and more efficient.

It also allows us to respond better to companies looking for customized products with tight deadlines, without compromising on quality or on the consistency of our values.

Local Made in Spain production and conscious development

This project reinforces one of the foundations of CANUSSA LAB: designing and producing through proximity. Working from our own workshop and in collaboration with local workshops allows us to maintain greater control over the value chain, take care of each process and commit to more responsible manufacturing.

For us, innovation is not only about incorporating technology. It also means using it with purpose: to produce better, optimize resources and create products that truly make sense.

Laser, plotter and in-house sewing are not just technical tools. They are ways to continue developing more personalized, durable solutions that are aligned with the real needs of companies.

One more step towards more flexible and circular production

The creation of this internal workshop is part of CANUSSA LAB’s evolution towards a more circular production model, where design, customization and manufacturing are increasingly connected.

Being able to prototype and customize in-house helps us make better decisions from the very beginning: choosing materials more carefully, adjusting formats more accurately and avoiding unnecessary processes.

Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture, this project allows us to continue building a more autonomous, creative and responsible way of working.

At CANUSSA LAB, we believe that the future of corporate accessories lies in useful, well-designed products adapted to each brand, but also in smarter, more local and more responsible processes. This improvement of our workshop is an important step in that direction.
